Events

This year we have two events. The first is the official launch on 30 April in Sligo, and the second is a showcase with the Irish Writers Centre on 20 May in Dublin, see below for details.

Both events are available to book through eventbrite. It's free and not mandatory, we just want to know roughly how many people to expect. Please email editorial@scrimshaw.ie if you want to reserve a place without going via eventbrite.

The launch event will be recorded and made available online for those who can't make it.

Scrimshaw Journal Showcase with Guest Speaker Dr Keith Hopper - Irish Writers CentreThe Scrimshaw Journal of New Writing and Visual Art is a student-led annual journal celebrating the creativity of the students, staff, and alumni of Atlantic Technological University (ATU). Pick up your free copy and hear from featured writers, and from guest speaker Dr Keith Hopper, who lectures on the Writing & Literature Programme at ATU.
